-We are in a cage made of an abandoned house
-Everyone is unconscious except Gowyn and Sheep, who have a nap
-Naomi wakes first, followed by Rory, then Gowyn and Sheep
-Catkin honk shoo mimimi as expected

-The cage seems to be made of cartoonish bars made of light

-Rory is pretty sure the bars aren’t real

-Rory tries to walk through the bars
-“I need my dice” - Cloud
-It hurts and feels like a laser

-Gowyn, looking past the shiny bars that are slowly changing colour, investigates what’s the haps

-The sleeping bags are still shredded, the campfire still burning, and the expedition party are worse for wear

-Chet is on our side
-They are sitting by the fire, scratching into a rock

-Gem is on the other side of the fire we think

-Flame is wandering about singing Taylor Swift
-Catkin is up like a shot
-to sing along to Love Story
-at the top of their lungs

-Voice of an angel

-Flame and Catkin sing together until Gem nails Flame with a snowball
-“Stop befriending the prisoners”

-Gowyn tries to start singing only for Gem to tell Chet to cast silence
-They’re a tad busy scratching… something… into a stone from the house

-Gowyn points out that’s not Cobalus and Chet just seems… tired

-The bars, as Chet continues writing, turn from blue to peach

-Gowyn jokingly tells Rory to poke the bars again
-Rory does it
-They still hurt but they’re more solid now
-Rory doesn’t know what that means

-Naomi offers them their cheese
-…our bags aren’t with us, they’re by the fire
-Flame 100% wants the cheese

-the cheese is like… 50 days old
-It is incredibly mouldy
-Naomi convinces them that that’s a good thing
-Chet points out it’s clearly magic cheese
-Rory points out he ate it and was fine

-Chet thinks the cheese made Rory… look like that

-Flame eats the cheese and starts floating higher and higher
-Flame is out of sight to us, and Chet casts a spell

-Chet is almost done writing
-Catkin wants to read what is clearly fanfic
-Rory wants to eat the rock they’re writing on
-Chet is Incredibly Done with us
-They’re applying something sticky to the scratches and sprinkling powder on it

-Flame crashes back down
-That spell Chet cast? Did Not Work
-She crashes into the snow
-But doesn’t seem too hurt
-Chet apologises, and finishes writing

-They bring the stone over

-Chet is incredibly tall. They have grey skin that turns pinky-orange in the limbs. Their hair os long and has that pinky-orange gradient
-They have 4 arms, a fairly deep voice, but are overall androgynous and very pretty

-Gowyn recognises that they look like the images of the Moirai from when we met Arcadia
-Naomi catches that too
-Rory doesn’t notice they have 4 arms
-Catkin thinks their hair is pretty

-They place the stone and wander out of sight

-Flame addresses us as a group
-“your cheese is horrible”
-Flame likes the effect but takes issue with it being mouldy
-She does, however, believe that Naomi can make better cheese

-Rory asks her to release the animals from his bag
-He points her to Gowyn’s bag and is devastated when she says the animals are gone
-Cue massive amounts of crying

-She coats the stone Chet placed in ice and starts singing Taylor Swift again

-Gowyn and Catkin join in and Gem, after throwing snow, yells to shut us up

-We stop singing, and Gem stares at us

-“Come here often?” Gowyn asks, to break the tension
-Gem glares at what seems to be patronising comment

-“Who are you?”
-Rory introduces himself and tries to shake Gem’s hand. They get hurt by the bars for several seconds
-Gowyn introduces themself and asks Gem to introduce herself. She doesn’t
-Catkin and Flame gush about Taylor Swift

-Gem wants to know Everything
-We start telling her about Malco
-Also how he tried to kill us
-And how we walked
-Also took a train
-And a dragon carriage that crashed
-Because of Malco
-Also how we met Arcadia
-Who stole Naomi’s wings
-Also screwed us all up
-We all talk each other
-Gowyn then starts at the beginning
-And spends hours explaining the divorce to Flame

-Gem decides that she really doesn’t want to enter out heads

-We are given our bags and we go to sleep
-Which, considering Sheep spent last session shredding their sleeping bags is very nice of them
-Flame talked Gem into it, she feels incredibly bad for Gowyn because of the whole divorce thing
-Sheep turns into a rug to sleep

-When we wake up, the expedition party is very confused where the child has gone
-Despite our repeated explanations that the child was a goat who is sometimes a rug the day before
-They think we’re mad and goes searching for the missing prisoner

-Chet apologises for the whole… terseness of yesterday
-They blame the surprise and the fight and the aggression
-We point out they were the aggressors
-Chet is very interested in learning about our trials from Arcadia
-Sheep briefly wakes up, turns into a child, and turns back so only Chet sees

-Gem, not believing Chet either, goes off with them to explore
-Flame stays back to guard the prison

-We hatch a plan
-Catkin starts performing kareoke
-While this is happening, Rory tries to shatter the enchanted rock inside the ice
-It seems to work, but the ice holds it together, so the spell is unaffected
-Perfect
-If we need to escape we can melt the ice and the bars… hopefully would disappear?

-Sheep turns back into a child
-Flame takes a minute and puzzles out that Sheep is, in fact, a mimic
-Gowyn regales her with the story of Sheep in the same manner they explained the divorce - incredibly dramatically
-Leaving out the part where Sheep commit a murder

-Gem returns and is confused where the child Gowyn is piggybacking reappeared from
-Flame immediately tells her that Sheep’s a mimic

-Needless to say, Sheep being a mimic is incredibly legally messy
-In explaining how they met Sheep, Gowyn starts talking about the divorce. Again.
-Rory covers Gowyn’s mouth, which muffles them but doesn’t stop them

-We ask about the map
-Gem isn’t happy we saw the map, but explains that Ivy nicked most of her highlighters
-Gem was blue, Flame red, Chet yellow, Scout green
-There wasn’t anyone else in the expedition party, though Rory endears themself by pointing out that Padshay would be a great place to get someone - Camo - killed
-Gem cannot overstate how much trouble we’re in
-Like, mimic thing aside we’re committing a super crime
-We’re going to be dragged before the entire indigo council and a court in Kalmia for trial
-Rory implicates Mia
-We might get a lesser punishment if we can drag Malco down with us…

-Then there’s the mimic
-Sheep being here is
-Well, legally it’s a mess and a half

-Speaking of, our very presence is like… very illegal. Though exactly how illegal is… errr… we’ll see. A lot of borders have been crossed and how much crime that was is TBD

-That said, if we agree to cooperate and come peacefully that’s a point in our favour, for however much that’s worth?
-So we mention the escape plan we’d been working on on
-And Gem, in turn, points out that Scout has been watching us from where they’ve been hiding in the snow this whole time
-So they knew about our plan
-But they do agree that it could have worked, so that’s fun

-We’ll be sticking around here for a few more days, then transported back for the whole… throwing the book at us
-Chet reappears and excitedly starts talking about Greyhook and what they have found in their exploration
